Curriculum 

 All students in Vista Charter School must earn an 80% or higher mastery on all course work. Eighty percent mastery is required.

Each course includes: Course description, Textbook or Computer options, Level of difficulty and RIT band correlation, Standards addressed, Review and Final exam to prove proficiency, Relevance statement.

Algebra I Part I (Medium) Course #1110-0-2

½ Credit

This course offers a review of integers, square roots and exponents, and properties of arithmetic. Students also learn to work with linear equations with one variable, including solving for the unknown and application of the algebra. Graphing and factoring are also introduced.

Real life application includes: The use formulas to figure area and volume, purchasing meals (including leaving a tip), determining commission and income, planning budgets, accumulating and paying interest, and graphing linear relationships.
